*******Just a Bit About Me*******
*Therapist- Sabre Fencer- Future Lawyer*
My experience as a licensed social worker providing psychotherapy and case management services has spanned over a decade. It has included working for organizations and hospitals, as well as in private therapy practice. I have the experience of being a dialysis social worker and a hospice social worker in the past. I have worked with individuals experiencing houselessness, members of the geriatric population in the nursing home setting, and with immigrant families providing psychotherapy and case management. It has also been a great honor and privilege to have the experience of working with military personnel and their families as a licensed social worker and therapist in the past too. Currently, I am also working on becoming certified in Geek Therapy.
I aspire to become a lawyer in the future and hope to incorporate this knowledge to help improve the delivery and quality of psycho-therapeutic services. I am also very humbled to be a part of the fencing community. As a sabre fencer, it promotes my own self care. It also reminds me of the importance of coming in with a learning mindset every day and coping with adversity in life with compassion and grace. Spending time with my fabulous family and my awesome and amazing pet companion also keep me grounded.
